Solvent Content Analysis
Ensure that your products meet the highest standards of quality and safety with our residual solvent analysis. Verify that your product is completely free of residual solvents that may have been used in the extraction or manufacturing process.
Solvents included in the analysis:
◦ EtOH (ethanol): Commonly used in extraction, but requires complete ◦ removal for safe products.
◦ iPrOH (isopropanol): Used in various manufacturing processes.
◦ Acetone: Effective, but potentially hazardous if left in the final product.
◦ Butane: Commonly present in the production of concentrates.
◦ Pentane: Solvent used to separate compounds.
◦ Hexane and Heptane: Used in specific extraction processes.
◦ EtOAc (ethyl acetate): Useful for selective separation, but requires complete removal.
Why check for residual solvents?
The presence of residual solvents can affect the safety and quality of your products. Our analysis allows us to accurately determine even the smallest traces of solvents, ensuring that your products comply with regulatory requirements and are completely safe for use.
Technology and precision
The analysis is carried out using gas chromatography (GC), which allows for reliable identification and quantification of solvent residues. This method ensures high accuracy and compliance with international quality standards.
Additional services
In addition to terpene analysis, we also offer:
◦ Cannabinoid analysis: Determination of the content of CBD, THC, CBG, CBC and other cannabinoids.
◦ Full spectrum analysis: We combine terpenes and cannabinoids for a comprehensive assessment of products.
◦ Terpene analysis, which determines the aromatic compounds responsible for the smell and taste of products.
Minimum sample size:
◦ Hemp biomass: minimum 2 g
◦ Hemp products (resins, oils): minimum 0.5 g
