Description
Cannabinoid Content Analysis
Laboratory analysis accurately determines the content of key cannabinoids in your plant material or finished products.
We analyze the following cannabinoids:
◦ CBD (cannabidiol + CBDA): A non-psychoactive compound known for its therapeutic properties such as relaxation, stress reduction and support for general health.
◦ CBDV (cannabidivarin + CBDVA): A rarer cannabinoid found in specific cannabis strains with lower THC content.
◦ Δ9-THC (delta-9 THC + Δ9-THCA): The primary psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis and its acid form, which is converted to active THC when heated.
◦ Δ8-THC (delta-8 THC + Δ8-THCA): A milder version of THC that causes less intense psychoactive effects and is mainly used in specific products.
◦ THCV (tetrahydrocannabivarin + THCVA): A unique cannabinoid that can act similarly to THC at low doses, but suppress appetite at higher doses.
◦ CBG (cannabigerol + CBGA): The parent cannabinoid from which other cannabinoids are synthesized, also known for its potential anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects.
◦ CBC (cannabichromene + CBCA): A cannabinoid that complements the effects of other compounds and shows potential in reducing pain and promoting skin health.
How is the analysis performed?
It uses high-precision chromatographic methods, such as Gas Chromatography (GC), which allows for the quantitative analysis of the cannabinoids listed above. The measurements provide reliable results that are essential for regulatory compliance and ensuring product quality.
Additional services
In addition to cannabinoid analysis, we offer:
◦ Terpene analysis, which determines the aromatic compounds responsible for the smell and taste of products.
◦ Solvent residue measurements to ensure product safety.
◦ Full spectrum analyses that combine cannabinoid and terpene content for a comprehensive overview of product quality.
◦ Thc, which allows for the precise determination of different forms of THC – (Δ9-THC, Δ8-THC, THCV, THCA,..).
Minimum sample size
◦ Hemp biomass (tops, leaves, stems): at least 2 g
◦ Hemp products (resins, oils): at least 0.5 g
Important:
When analyzing solid products such as infusion dishes or capsules, it is necessary to attach the concentrated oil or plant material used to make them.
Reliability, accuracy and quality
