In Oxypots, plants are grown in a highly oxygenated nutrient solution, which creates explosive plant growth and very high yields. Each Oxypot 4 system has a unique design with a large tank and top cover that can hold from 1 to 5 plants. The plants sit in a mesh pot surrounded by clay pebbles and the roots hang in a bucket where a double air pump divided into 4 air stones supplies the nutrient solution and oxygen.

Using Oxypots:

Growing in oxygen vases is pretty easy, it’s all about keeping the food in the right amount and at the right level in the bucket.

Once a week, completely empty and refill your occipot with fresh nutrient solution. As nutrient levels drop, supplement your oxypot with 1/4 to 1/2 strength nutrient solution to maintain levels and adjust your pH as needed.

Don’t let the level of your oxypot get too low, because the less water in the bucket, the more toxic the nutrients. Also, keep an eye on the health of your plants, as nutrient deficiencies can take a toll on them, especially during flowering. If the tips of your leaves turn white or yellow, this is burn from overfeeding, so reduce the strength of the nutrient or dilute it with more water.
